Homebuyer Workshops - ALBANY/ALBANY COUNTY

Affordable Housing Partnership (AHP) educational workshops are provided as a 3-part series. The series is offered every month in Albany. A $10 workbook fee for the 3-part series is due at the first session. Additional "Fast Track" workshops are available for those homebuyers who are currently in the middle of a purchase. Albany County Rural Housing Alliance (ACRHA) offers homebuyer education workshops in addition to a variety of home acquisition and repair programs. Offices are located in Voorheesville, Cohoes and Ravena. Click here for ACRHA's latest schedule and registration information.

Better Neighborhoods Inc. (BNI) offers it's workshop series to get you ready for a successful and affordable homeownership experience. Workshops are free of charge and open to the public. All BNI workshops are held at the Steinmetz Family Investment Center, 120 Emmons St., Schenectady NY. For schedules and information visit BNI's website. Land Trust of Schenectady (CLTS)

 

Community Land Trust of Schenectady (CLTS) offers Homebuyer Education workshop at their office located at 1677 VanVranken Avenue, Schenectady, 12308. Each session consists of two three-hour classes. The TRIP NeighborWorks Homeownership Center (TRIP) and Rensselaer County Housing Resources (RCHR) hold frequent orientation sessions to learn more about TRIP/RCHR programs and get enrolled in other classes.
