Owning a home helps create wealth and financial strength.
I can make it reflect my own personal style.
I can begin building equity.
I can plant my own garden.
I can make friends in a real neighborhood.
My kids can hang out in the yard.
I can have a pet.
No landlord.
 

I'm nervous about buying a house because:
I don't think I can afford the kind of house I want.
I'm not sure I can get the down payment together.
I don't know if my credit record is good enough.
The process is too complicated.
It seems like a big commitment.
